Dear
Parents and Guardians:
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is
Rashelle Oberle, and I will be your child’s language arts teacher for the rest
of the school year. It is my goal to provide all students with an educationally
challenging, yet enjoyable, experience in my classroom. I have a degree in
Technical English and minors in Language Arts Education and Coaching. Your
child’s success in my classroom is my number one priority. It is a
pleasure to be placed at Jackson Heights Middle School, and I am looking
forward to working with your child.
I am going to spend my first week getting familiar with the daily routines of
the class as well as getting to know your child. However, I will be diving into
the curriculum at full speed. I have high expectations of my students, and I
expect them to give me their full-attention, efforts, and respect.
All of the students have their own unique gifts and talents and I
am excited to begin our journey together. It is my hope that the students
benefit from this experience as much as I will.
While this letter is only a brief introduction, I hope that each of you will
feel comfortable with my role in your child’s class. If you have questions at
any time, please do not hesitate to contact me. I hope I will have the
opportunity to meet you over the next several months. I am in the process of
making a classroom blog where I will post homework assignments, reminders, and
handouts for students.
If you have any question s or concerns, please contact me by email: Rashelle[email protected]. Email is the best way
to reach me.
Sincerely,
Rashelle Oberle
